Captain 3-D

Conceived by the legendary team of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby (creators of Young Romance and Captain America, among others), Captain 3-D was part of a comic book trend tied to the popularity of 3-D movies in the 1950s. While 3-D comics were relatively short lived at the time, they foreshadowed contemporary developments like virtual reality glasses and augmented reality programs and applications.
