Art in Action: A Conversation with Amos Paul Kennedy Jr.
Detroit-based artist Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr., discusses his letterpress poster Racism Is Still with Us from his Rosa Parks series, featured in the Library of Congress exhibition Art in Action: Herblock and Fellow Artists Respond to Their Times. In conversation with visiting "Print Camp" students and faculty from the Maryland Institute College of Art, he talks about Kerry James Marshall’s exhibited lithograph Memento which pays tribute to heroes and martyrs of the Civil Rights movement.
