UNKNOWN PHOTOGRAPHER. “Not an Ostrich—But the Oddly Plumed ‘Floradora Goose’” New York, New York, 1930

The prize-winning “Floradora goose” was displayed at the 41st annual Poultry Show in Madison Square Garden. A rare goose, decorated with fluffy un-gooselike feathers, is held by British actress Isla Bevan, a cast member of Noel Coward’s operetta Bitter Sweet that opened at the Ziegfeld Theatre on November 5, 1929.
