Products/Services Available Through the FEDLINK Contract
Digital Science solutions support the research, reporting, and information management needs of federal libraries and agencies. Our tools are available through the FEDLINK contract under two categories: Lot 1 (Commercial Off-the-Shelf - COTS) and Lot 4 (Customized Solutions and Specialized Access).
LOT 1 - COTS
Lot 1 products are ready-to-order with no additional negotiation required. They offer fast, scalable deployment to meet agency needs and reduce manual work.
DIMENSIONS
- Dimensions Web App: Search the world’s largest linked research database, connecting publications, grants, datasets, patents, clinical trials, and policy documents in one place.
Optional dashboards add-ons include:
- Landscape and Discovery: Visualize the research landscape around any topic, including trending concepts, funding activity, and collaboration across institutions and sectors.
- Perspectives and Insights: Analyze collaboration, funding patterns, and emerging trends at research institutions.
ALTMETRIC
- Altmetric Explorer: Track and analyze online attention to research from news, policy, blogs, and social media. Includes JSON Exporter for structured data export and advanced analysis.
- Altmetric Badges (Entry Tier): Visual indicators showing online engagement on research outputs.
READCUBE
- ReadCube: A cloud-based platform to manage and organize scholarly content.
- ReadCube Pro: Adds AI-powered search, literature monitoring, and enhanced tools.
- ReadCube Pro SLR: Supports structured workflows for systematic literature reviews.
All Lot 1 tools are available in Small and Large tiers based on agency size.
LOT 4 - SPECIALIZED
Lot 4 enables agencies to tailor and extend Lot 1 offerings. A written Statement of Work (SOW) is required.
- Dimensions Analytics with Configured Dashboards: Provides named-user access and advanced capabilities like API integration, Badges, BigQuery datasets, and dashboards for specific agency needs (e.g., open access, research integrity, benchmarking).
- Altmetric Custom Implementations: Include enhanced access to Explorer and Badges, API and BigQuery integration, and configurable reports aligned to agency communications, outreach, or assessment needs.
Lot 4 services help agencies integrate research tools into their environment while maintaining compliance with federal standards for security, accessibility, and data management.
