ERI Economic Research Institute offers analyses, databases and published reports on compensation, benefits and human resource research in the form of its Assessor Series products on a subscription basis. Demo programs and illustrations are found on ERI's Platform Library CD-ROM, available free via Download or by calling ERI. Also available on this download/CD is PAQ's revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT). PAQ's revised DOT becomes the enhanced Dictionary of Occupational Titles (eDOT) when ERI's Complete Consultant's Series(CCS) or Global Remuneration Series(GRS) is purchased and the Assessor Series databases are accessed on a subscription basis. PAQ's revised DOT and eDOT represent an updating of the abandoned U.S.DOT, using PAQ's over 75,000 subject matter expert job analyses and the over 40,000,000 inputs from the eDOT Project, now managed by PAQ (previously created and operated by ERI). PAQ's revised DOT is an abbreviated version of eDOT. eDOT, part of the CCS and GRS subscriptions, contains the original construct(measures) of the DOT and also adds new work measures(e.g. stress), job availability statistics, potential employer lists, full Assessor Series job descriptions, earnings, and the raw data site for work measures(content validity), plus LAN capabilities. Various editions designed for unique subscriber applications are incorporated(private disability, career planning, state workers' compensation bureaus, etc.) including a new FLSA edition released to meet the new U.S.FLSA Regulations in effect as of 23 August 2004. ERI's CCS subscription contains the Executive Compensation Assessor (ECA), a unique survey and analyses of Internet accessed SEC 10-K's, proxies, annual reports tax exempt entities' Form 990s and attachments. Used by the IRS National Appeals Office since 1989, the ECA has become the customary data source for maximum reasonable compensation cases in U.S. Federal Tax Court. New in 2004 is the Tax Exempt edition, created from OCR readings of over 300,000 Form 990s, creating competitive analyses for 600 NTEE industries. Like all Assessor research, raw data sources are accessible with downloads of referenced SEC and IRS data instantaneously available, the latter now required in Intermediate Sanction analyses and Daubert Challenge defenses. Please contact the ERI representative for specific details of their offerings.
