Collection Description (CRHP): This collection consists of footage of WTKR, a CBS affiliate in Norfolk, Virginia. It is currently unprocessed, and it is the only surviving local news footage from this time period. It includes interviews with the "Norfolk 17," the 17 African-American students who entered six previously all-white middle and high schools in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1959.
