Collection Description (CRHP): This collection includes interviews with Sarah Louise Fisher, who, in 1965, was the first African American to enter the Alabama School of Nursing, then in Tuscaloosa; she became the first African American graduate in 1969. The collection also includes an interview with Delois Skipwith Guy, who became the school's first African American faculty member in 1969.
