Collection Description (Extant): This series consists of films that relate to enclosures to case files that cover civil rights litigation before the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in series "Class 144 (Civil Rights) Enclosures, 1939-1970" (ARC Identifier 607825). The films cover recordings of riots, marches, and racial demonstrations. The textual material contained in the series includes written statements and envelopes that contain the title, subject, and the names of individuals featured in each film.
