Collection Description (Extant): Audio tapes of approximately 50 interviews with New Rochelle residents concerning their experiences in New Rochelle. Interviewees include the city historian, former teachers, the city manager, black residents, the first women doctor, director of the New Rochelle Public Library, former fire chief, a judge, musicians, artists, and a suffragist. Transcripts are available for 35 of the interviews.
