Collection Description (CRHP): See the interviews with the following individuals, several of whom were African American politicians and community activists in Dallas: George Allen, Pearl C. Anderson, Emmett Conrad, Juanita Craft, Betty Culbreath-Lister, Donald Fielding, Zan W. Holmes, H. Rhett James, Al Lipscomb, Paul B. Ragsdale, and A. Maceo Smith.

Collection Description (Extant): The Texas/Dallas History & Archives Divisions recorded more than 300 oral histories of prominent Dallasites. Some of these histories have been transcribed, and can be found in the library's catalog. A finding guide to those that have yet to be transcribed is available at the Texas/Dallas History reference desk.
