Repository description (extant): Located on the third floor of the David L. Rice Library, the collection consists of personal papers and business, organizational, and governmental records. Included are diaries and journals, correspondence, literary manuscripts, art work, account books, minutes of business firms and organizations, scrapbooks and newsletters, photographs and memorabilia.
[Regional Collections] focuses on Indiana and the tri-state area's local history. The Archives has early government papers and collections from ethnic groups like the African-American and Jewish communities from Evansville. The Archives has over 350 oral histories from members of the community with a range of topics and interests. The Archives has many editions of the Evansville High School and Central High School yearbooks from 1909 to 1987.
