Repository description (extant): Welcome to the Irving Archives in the Irving Public Library. The Archives collects and preserves the history of Irving, its residents, and its predecessor communities, making this information available to all individuals who have an interest in it.

Holdings date from the mid-nineteenth century to the present and include letters, photographs, maps, newspapers, minutes, deeds, videotapes, audiotaped interviews, scrapbooks, and other records from both city government and private sources.
