- Contains approximately 2,800 lantern slides of architectural structures and landscapes designed in the US between 1850 and 1920 by prominent landscape architects (including Harvard faculty Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., Bremer W. Pond, and James Sturgis Pray). Offers views of cities, buildings, parks, private estates, and gardens, including a complete history of Boston's Park System. In addition to photographs, views of locations around the country are represented by plans, maps, and models. Original material is housed in the Frances Loeb Library at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
