  • Fifteen-frame comic strip. Fearless Fosdick faces the criminal Bomb-Face, but just as Fosdick is about to explode, he sends Bomb-Face out the window to destroy his gang of friends. Li'l Abner reads the strip, relieved that his favorite detective has survived another unusual escapade. The strip includes a frame of "Advice fo' Chillun," about saving fats and scrap metals for the war effort.

If an image is displaying, you can download it yourself. (Some images display only as thumbnails outside the Library of Congress because of rights considerations, but you have access to larger size images on site.)
