Summary

  • Nine-frame comic strip. Krazy Kat and Ignatz spot a fig tree with one piece of fruit and one leaf. Ignatz plucks the fruit for himself, and gives the leaf to Krazy Kat. Krazy is upset, because the leaf is not edible, until a passing duck says that a fig leaf was worn by "the first first lady of all time." Ignatz amd Officer Pupp talk about the fig tree until Krazy walks by wearing the leaf.

All images can be viewed at a large size when you are in any reading room at the Library of Congress.
