About this Item
Title
- Moon Mullins. "Whaddaya mean Uncle Willie got the 'same as usual' on his new job?"
Summary
- Twelve-frame comic strip. When Uncle Willie answers an ad for a handy house-man he decides to bring little Kayo with him, because he will have more sympathy if he has a child. The child has a big mouth, and nearly prevents Willie from gaining employment. Willie attempts to send him home, but the child resists. Willie whacks the boy with a broom and sends a valuable statue crashing to the floor. When Kayo asks the owner what he would do if someone broke it, the owner replies that he would make the person work to pay for its loss. Kayo is happy because Willie will have a job for a long time.
