  • "A white man (Arthur Johnson) convinces an Indian maiden (Marion Leonard) to abandon her Indian village and accompany him to his small house on the edge of some cleared land. In time, they have a child. In the background, from the beginning, an Indian (James Kirkwood) can be seen as though guarding the young Indian girl. In time, the white man becomes enamored of a white girl. He leaves the Indian girl, and the last scene shows her with her child in her arms, going off into the hills with the Indian brave who had always loved her"--Paper print catalog.
