  • Preface reads, "National calendar almanac, made by the Astronomy Officer under the order of the Emperor; anyone making an unauthorized copy will be decapitated; one who reports transgression to the official will be rewarded fifty silver liang"; this regulation was quoted from the "Da Ming lu" (Regulations of the Ming Dynasty).
