This seems to be an author's manuscript ready for publication and is an interesting example of printers' copy nearly 400 years old."
  • -  不著撰人姓氏，亦無書題，按其內容蓋就羅洪先《廣輿圖》再廣之。全書凡一百四十二葉，地圖畫方，頗精；圖後附說，說前有總論。無書題，以其出自羅《圖》，故仍題名為《廣輿圖》。持與羅圖相校，編製大致相同，然無胡松所增倭及琉球兩圖。諸夷雖有東南、西南等海夷圖，然與錢岱所增不同。其所據羅《圖》，殆非胡松梓行之本。圖說增竄頗多，尤致詳於山川關隘險要等事，凡所增，或標子目，或冠以「附攷」、「附詳」、「附載」、「補考」、「補註」等字樣以別之。洪先原說，蓋斷自嘉靖初元，此鈔本第一圖附說，記祿米石數，注云：「以上嘉靖三十二年前數」；又黃河圖附載云：「嘉靖七年盛應致請開新河，功未成而罷，四十五年詔開之」。又山東圖載毛文龍《疏附摘》，按文龍經營廟島在天啟元年，七年為袁崇煥所殺，然則纂輯時期，當在天啟以後矣。卷內於滿清所忌如夷、奴等字俱不避，則成書猶在明季。各冊鈐「退一居珍藏印」.
