  • -  無書名葉。每冊封面墨筆題"雲林縣采訪冊"，下鈐"平堅？"藍文圓印。每冊卷端題"雲林縣采訪冊"。全書五冊原未標冊次，現暫時編號。冊一始自斗六堡，冊二始自他里霧堡，冊三始自溪洲堡，冊四始自布嶼西堡，冊五始自大[kang]榔堡。每地分類記各處地理位置、戶口人數、歷代沿革、交通水利、書院義塾、祠廟寺觀、風俗禮節、土著番社、物產經濟、科貢官職、藝文典章、災祥變異、義士孝子烈女等，頗為詳盡，與地方志相近。卷内紀年全用清朝年號，自乾隆起至光緖二十年.
  • -  是書全文正楷墨書於朱印竪欄淡黃箋紙上，箋紙下書口朱印"臨時臺灣舊慣調查會"。查臨時臺灣舊慣調查會於明治34年(1901年)成立，大正8年(1919年)研究工作结束后裁撤。由后藤民政长官出任会长，聘请京都帝大教授冈松参太郎和织田万主持大规模的旧惯调查，内容包括台湾的法制及经济產业，后来也加入原住民的调查。并将研究成果出版，如：《台湾私法》、《清国行政法》、《台湾蕃族惯习研究》等，此書應是當時調查所撰，但未出版，僅此孤本，各館無藏，可说是相当重要的文化資產.
