  • Autograph letter, signed, from Reverend Isaac Bird to Theodore Dwight includes a translation by Reverend Bird of a second Arabic manuscript from Panama Sheikh [Shaykh Sana See] in April, 1863. In the letter, Rev. Bird refers to contacting Mr. E.D.G. Prime who reported that the manuscript written by Moro was described by Reverend Plumer in the Observer. Reverend Bird identifies Moro as being the equivalent of Amrou or Omar if written in Arabic.
