- - Tokhehot Mussar ("Moral Reproofs"), by Ezra b. Ezekiel of Baghdad (1660-after 1742). With variations from the only printed edition (Constantinople 1734/5). There are a good many paste-on insertions (some of which have peeled off) altering the text for the most part to conform to the printed edition. After restoration the paste-on overlays were lifted and repositioned in their same locations by hinging, so that the original text can be read. The manuscript has been damaged by moisture and parts are illegible. On the author, cf. A. Ben-Jacob, Yehude Bavel (1965), pp. 96-97; EJ, v. 6, p. 1123.
