- - Miniature prayerbook with additional blessings, illuminated by Joseph ben Meir Schmalkalden in silver, gold, and various colors in gouache. Handwritten title page bearing a rhymed inscription by one Joseph Deirne Katz, the man who commissioned the manuscript or more likely purchased it ready-made. Dierne writes that the book is for his wife, who is the "mainstay of his house" but does not give her name. The scribe signed his name in minuscule letters on the leaf illustrating the blessing "He who remembers His covenant," in a book held by a woman standing underneath a rainbow.
