About this Item

Title

  • GeoReferenced electoral districts datasets

Summary

  • "These georeferenced maps provide the boundaries for electoral constituencies and link to the constituencies in the CLEA Lower Chamber election archive. GRED (20190215) is the first non-beta release and consists of 167 maps from 74 countries. Historical coverage is provided for Brazil (1945-2014), Sweden (1952-2014), and the United States (1900-2014). The maps in this release match the constituencies for elections in Release 12 (20181119) of the CLEA Lower Chamber data. The electoral constituency maps are organized by country. Maps are provided in ESRI Shapefile format and the GRED codebook describes how this file format can be used." --Project website.
