The son complains that his parents judge every aspect of his life--friends, books, schools, and interests. His mother says that she and his father only want to help him avoid the pitfalls of life, but that he simply ignores all their good advice.

- - The Court of human relations originated as a popular radio program, also created and moderated by A.L. Alexander. In one or two cases per episode, a panel of mediators, including clergymen, authors, judges, educators, and other notables give advice on interpersonal problems presented to them by actual people, called "complainants" and "respondents". The cases involve family and other personal disputes, marital entanglements, emotional problems, and financial disagreements. The show aired in the afternoon on NBC from June 22, 1959 to August 21, 1959.
