Summary

  • A three-member board mediates disputes and disagreements submitted for review by the people involved. Complainants and respondents are interviewed by A.L. Alexander and the mediators. In this episode, the board considers the case of a woman who complains that her husband of 31 years expects her parents to contribute to the support of their household. However, she believes that their financial responsibilty to her ended with her marriage, and does not want to ask them for money, especially as she does not think they will ever be repaid. Her husband freely admits to being a failure and feels that if his in-laws cared about their daughter they would pitch in to make her happy.

The show aired in the afternoon on NBC from June 22, 1959 to August 21, 1959.
