As a leader of Domestic Workers United, Christine Lewis is a vocal advocate for the organization. During this wide-ranging interview, Lewis focuses on the skills she brings to her job as a domestic worker. She discusses how she establishes relationships with the children she cares for, and the cross-cultural impact she has had on the families that employ her. She talks about how the spiritual "How I Got Over," has given her comfort during the trials and tribulations of her jobs. She speaks about the competition for domestic workers' jobs, and the role it plays in organizing women within Domestic Workers United. Lewis also discusses how she maintains her own work/life balance.
