Gordon Henry Jr., an enrolled citizen of the White Earth Anishinaabe Nation in Minnesota, is a poet and fiction writer. His writing has been published in numerous anthologies in the United States and has been translated into German, Spanish, and Italian. His book The Failure of Certain Charms was translated into Catalan by Carmen Manuel Cuenca from the University of Valencia. Gordon teaches courses in Creative Writing and American Indian Literature in the English Department at Michigan State University.
