Summary
- Angelique, known as Angel, moves from France to the United States to marry American architect, John Smith. The newlyweds set up housekeeping in Los Angeles, California. She tries her best to be a good housewife but sometimes runs into problems as she learns English and adapts to her new life and culture. In this episode Angel thinks she has won a good, used trailer, but actually, she has been tricked by a couple of con men into signing a contract to buy one. Johnny is outraged, but one of the con men arrives at their door, and tricks Johnny into thinking he would be getting a bargain. He buys the trailer even though they can't really afford it, but George and Susie offer to share the cost, and the trailer. Everyone is happy until they find out that they have been conned. George and Susie want out, but Johnny won't return their check. The friendship is strained further when, the next day, when they are all supposed to take the trailer for a weekend in Palm Springs, George and Susie arrive ready for a ski trip to Mount Baldy.
