  • "William Gordon, Jr., a constant source of irritation to his airplane manufacturer father, leaves home after an argument. Accompanied by his faithful mechanic, William flies his airplane in search of adventure. He soon meets inventor John Courtney and becomes enamored with his daughter, Helen. To help John overcome an unscrupulous rival who covets his invention, William enters a transcontinental airplane race.
