- Authors Dhonielle Clayton, Tiffany D. Jackson, Nic Stone, Angie Thomas, Ashley Woodfolk, and Nicola Yoon return to D.C. with "Whiteout," a sequel anthology full of more stories about Black love and joy, this time set during a snowy whiteout in Atlanta. This follow-up to "Blackout" will be published on November 8, 2022. The group's appearance at the 2022 National Book Festival's Main Stage was a major highlight of the festival, and now they are coming to the Library's own Coolidge Auditorium in the Thomas Jefferson Building. This event was moderated by the Librarian of Congress, Carla Hayden.
