  • After an altercation with her father, a vengeful gypsy kidnaps little Dollie from her family's yard. She is placed in a barrel which travels down a stream and over a waterfall. As her father searches frantically for her, a young angler fishes the barrel from the river, and the family is reunited.

Although she is often credited with playing the title role in Griffith's first directorial effort, The adventures of Dollie, this is not evident in a review of the records or the film itself".
