  • -  Documentation for a set of selected sound recordings to represent the project, most of which feature musical performances, assembled by Nathan W. Pearson and the staff at the American Folklife after completion of the project's fieldwork. The set consists of of four reels of edited selections and three reels in their entirety. A copy of the set of seven reels was presented to the project partner, the Illinois Arts Council. This folder contains the annotations for the selections. Notes and a draft version are reproduced on pages 1-36; the final edited version is reproduced on pages 37-78.
