  • -  Side A: Part 3 of a 7-part series of recordings of musical performances at the Royal Singing Convention, Mystic GA (Saturday, 16 July 1977): performances include the Franks Quartet, comment, "I don't know what you came to do, but I came to praise the Lord," this moment included laughter at a foul-up between the piano and singers, Franks Quartet continue, "Let's slow down a little bit and get a little more serious," with a dedication to Brother Paul (surname not documented), "When I Step Off at That Beautiful Shore," comment from participant in the Tabernacle, "be sure to sing the verse about the streets of gold," encore for Franks Quartet, dedication to Sister Yarbrough, "When My Feet Touch the Streets of Gold," the requested song, the pianist plays "Old McDonald Had a Farm" between first and second verses; all singers perform two hymn, fieldworker's not includes "Will Bryant?" may be name of leader or performer; all singers perform "Look Up," number 98 in the hymnal Sing With Joy (Tennessee Music and Printing Co, 1976); duet performs "Christ on the Cross" and "He Did It All for Me," fieldworker's notes comment that this may be women from Florida interviewed the next day (may be Mrs. Beckham and Mrs. Hall?); quartet from Alabama performs "There's a Song in my Heart."

Vaughan, 1977), second may be led by Leo Lacy; duet by Brenda and Debbie Norman of Macon GA, dedicated to their grandmother, Mrs. C.R. Royal, one the young women offer a reading from Romans 38-39, then the duet sings "I'll Still Love You"; all singers, "Way Up in Glory Land" and "What a Wonderful Feeling," numbers 32 and 142 in the hymnal Pure Gospel, first of the pair led by Leo Davis; all sing an unidentified hymn led by Leroy Carver; solo performance by (Bud Wilburn?), Macon GA, who comments about a song from 1937 composed by a man whose home was destroyed in a fire while he was teaching at a singing school, "I'll Meet You in the Morning," the speaker comments that the man had been an infidel and when he found the ashes, "he touched God, he had to touch God, and God blessed him," the writer dedicated the song to the his wife Goldie and three children, killed in the fire, before performing, the singer asks Doris to help Freddie, the piano player, other singers join in the chorus, toward the end, this comment, "How many of you feel like joining your arms, you will meet Uncle Billy (William Jackson Royal) in heaven"; all singers perform "The Road to Glory," may be number 124 in an unidentified hymnal, tape runs out during this hymn.
