  • -  Summary: Anna Moore Lafazanis works for ABC television. Her program was about to air when a traffic camera pointing at the World Trade Center (WTC) captured an airplane striking the building. Her crew began gathering material to broadcast. She described the scene as an accident until the second plane plowed through the south tower. ABC's transmission tower was on top of the WTC where a co-worker died. She talks about terrorism, Osama Bin Laden, anthrax, her family, losing friends, a memorial service, fund raising, depression, and escaping death.
