Notes
-  Interview with Carmine Federico, co-owner of People's Park Hardware on 21st Avenue.
-  Summary of audio segment: TC says he noticed customers who come into the shop tend to approach CF, they don't wander in and look around. CF says the only places you get that kind of service is in the small hardware stores. A lot of customers do plumbing and electrical work, and they can get advice from CF and Sario about how to do the work, as well as buy the materials. People come back to say it worked, and they thank him. Can't do that in a big business. CF says when he first got married, had a problem with shower head in bathroom. Went to Nucci hardware on Grand Street, thought it was a big problem. But Mr. Nucci told him what to do, and it was easy, he learned a lot. And the experience he learned from dealing with that hardware store, CF passed on to thousands of people. And that makes people happy. And they always come back. Most people want to learn, to do things themselves. Even with electrical work. CF isn't an electrician, but he knows how to do the work, and he helps people, explains things to them. Explains about overloading electrical lines. Sario refers questions about electrical work to Carmine.
