- - Summary of audio segment: Did RD have a built in clientele when he bought the business? RD says had some people fromthe previous owner. You think when you buy a business you buy the clientele too, but it doesn't work that way. Because they may come in only once and decide they don't like you. They see you as a newcomer, maybe you're too young, maybe too old, maybe your stock is different, or from another supplier, etc. So RD had to build his own clientele. And today, he's seen a lot of people come and go, some have died, but whatever RD has today is because he still has faithful customers. But that applies to a narrow margin of customers. And you get the passing by customers.
