This position is located in the Financial Services Directorate, Budget Division, The incumbent functions as an entry-level budget analyst on a team of specialized budget analysts led by a Senior Budget Analyst (Team Leader).  The team is responsible to the Budget Officer for all aspects of the formulation, presentation, and execution of specific elements of the Library’s annual budget.  The position provides hands-on training for the analyst in planning, organizing, and preparation of a comprehensive financial management program that includes not only the development of formal budget submissions to the Congress but also the establishment, evaluation, and monitoring of financial, budgetary, payroll and information systems for the expenditures of federal funds.
