The incumbent is responsible for supporting the mission of the ITQPM Directorate by applying ITSM principles to improve the overall delivery of services to Library users.  The incumbent must possess skills in the development, facilitation and implementation of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes consistent with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practice framework.  Specifically, the incumbent must facilitate and engage in service delivery, performance management, continuous improvement and quality improvement activities through the coordination of and attendance at regular meetings with Service and Process Owners and Process Managers to ensure the proper development and integration of ITSM processes and to ensure that the Service Catalog and Service Portfolio are updated on a regular basis, confirming the accuracy of the content with both the business and technical service owners.
