The position serves as a Program Analyst working under the general supervision of the Associate Librarian, Discovery, and Preservation Services (DPS). This pivotal role occupies the intersection of project management, program execution, and directional planning, furthering the goals of LCSG and the service units within LCSG led by the Associate Librarian. The incumbent works closely with the Associate Librarian, Deputy Librarian, LCSG, directors within the service unit, other senior LCSG and Library managers. The incumbent lays a key role in executing priorities established by the Associate Librarian, driving the success of initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination, and contributing to the overall growth and efficiency of service units within LCSG. The incumbent works with a high degree of autonomy, working collaboratively with managers and supervisors service unit wide to coordinate activities; developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating projects and programs; and producing reports and/or analytical studies on activities and issues; and identifying and resolving problems on behalf of the Associate Librarian.  The incumbent works with a wide range of individuals in the Library of Congress, as well as, with individuals in other government agencies and/or partner organizations with a variety of approaches.
