This position is located in an office or division within the Congressional Research Service (CRS) within the Library of Congress (LC), and the incumbent is a member of the management team.  The incumbent leads, coordinates and monitors the development of strategic projects and ongoing programs of critical significance that support the mission of CRS and/or one of its divisions or offices.  Provides leadership on CRS and Library of Congress (LC) strategic planning initiatives and activities. Serves as a principal liaison on interdivisional and interagency activities between CRS, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Congressional Budget Office (CBO), and other legislative support agencies.  As a representative of the division/office and/or the Service, the incumbent leads or participates on Service-wide and Library-wide working groups, project teams, task forces or committees in a wide variety of areas.  Identifies and resolves problems that impede program development efforts and the achievement of Service or division/office objectives.
