The Supervisory Human Capital Program Specialist for the Office of Administrative Operations of the Congressional Research Service (CRS) leads the Staffing and Recruitment Unit and manages the administration and operational processes of the section.
The Supervisory Human Capital Program Specialist provides advice, guidance and direction to CRS managers and supervisors on filing positions at all levels in an efficient and expeditious manner in compliance with the Library’s Merit Selection Plan and regulations. The supervisor ensures that personnel action recommendations are promptly and accurately completed, and manages the service units special hiring programs. The supervisor applies expert knowledge and guidance in resolving complex problems or issues that affect the section’s programs, initiatives and activities.
