A display and workshop with Chicano Artist Mario Torero. A political activist and muralist from the San Diego area, Torero has taught at several schools and colleges and his work has been exhibited around the world. He is the co-founder of the San Diego Commission of Arts and Culture, el Centro Cultural de la Raza, the Chicano Park Murals Outdoor Museum. San Diego's Chicano Park, which contains a number of Torero's murals, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2016. The Library of Congress has acquired more than 20 prints, drawings and posters by the artist dating from 1967 - 2016.
