Celebrate reading and literacy as Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden hosts the National Book Festival Gala on the eve of the Festival itself. Watch live as the recipients of the Library of Congress Literacy Awards are announced. Hear presentations from authors Evan Thomas, R.O. Kwon, Casey Gerald, R.J. Palacio and Richard Ford, recipient of the Library of Congress Prize for American Fiction. 

Special guest appearance from National Book Festival Board co-chairman David Rubenstein.
