This in-person and livestreamed event from the Connecting Communities Digital Initiative (CCDI) team will bring together the inaugural CCDI Higher Education and Libraries, Archives, and Museums grantees, Huston-Tillotson University and Kenton County Public Library, respectively, to share updates and insights on the works they’re developing as part of the initiative. Scholar in Residence Maya Cade will also present about her efforts with the Library’s historic film archives. Featuring an address from Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden and a discussion with the CCDI Advisory Board, the event will also include a Q&A segment with the audience. CCDI is part of the Mellon grant-funded, Library-wide Of the People: Widening the Path program.
