Jason Reynolds will close his tenure as the 2020-2022 National Ambassador for Young People's Literature by celebrating his GRAB THE MIC: Tell Your Story platform.

Join us as we celebrate Jason Reynolds, the seventh National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature. Reynolds has served a historic three years in this role and we will honor him and his work as Ambassador, which inspired so many children and teens across the nation. In this program, local area student ambassadors will interview Reynolds about his term and will include special remarks by the Librarian of Congress and Reynolds himself.

The National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature is an initiative of the Library of Congress, in partnership with Every Child a Reader, with generous support from The Capital Group Companies Charitable Foundation, Dollar General Literacy Foundation and 2020-2022 support from Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing. This event is co-sponsored by the Library’s Informal Learning Office.
