Join us for an early screening of the first episode of “Manhunt,” Apple’s upcoming seven-part true crime limited series. The screening will feature a panel discussion with the series' stars and executive producers in the Coolidge Auditorium on March 13 at 7 p.m.

Speaking at the event will be Anthony Boyle, who plays Booth; Hamish Linklater, who plays Abraham Lincoln; Patton Oswalt, who plays Detective Lafayette Baker; Lovie Simone, who plays Mary Simms: showrunner and executive producer Monica Beletsky; and James L. Swanson, executive producer and author of the New York Times bestselling and Edgar Award-winning non-fiction book “Manhunt: the 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer.”

Library historian Michelle Krowl will also provide intriguing context for attendees about the Library’s Lincoln and Civil War holdings. Attendees will have early access to the show’s first episode and sneak peek clips before the series makes its global debut.

“Manhunt” is a conspiracy thriller about one of the best-known but least understood crimes in history, the astonishing story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.
