Vets Town Halls are public forums in which veterans are invited to speak their minds on issues concerning them. At these events veterans, elected officials, and the general public can learn more about what it is like to be a veteran and how to better serve the veteran community.
This Vets Town Hall is focusing on education issues, and vets are encouraged to share ideas and experiences regarding the GI Bill, being a student veteran, and the educational experience for vets. This Town Hall is sponsored by the Library of Congress Veterans History Project, Cornell University, Montgomery College, and Morgan State University.
