The 2024 Summer Olympic Games will be hosted in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The games will feature more than 10,000 athletes, 329 events and 32 sports, including breaking (also known as breakdancing), making its Olympic debut. This small, curated display showcases some of the Library’s collections related to the modern Summer Olympic Games. It includes items documenting the 1924 Summer Olympics—the last time Paris hosted the games.
