What is it about mermaids that’s so attractive? And mesmerizing? And hypnotic? And… scary? Hear author Vera Brosgol read excerpts and watch her draw moments from her National Book Festival-featured graphic novel, “Plain Jane and the Mermaid.” She will also read from her picture books “Leave Me Alone” and “Memory Jars.”
